Year 4's Visualising Glasses

Rendered Image

By Jonathan and Mikaela

Year 4 have made their own Visualising Glasses. Miss Lee has found a special visualising song and when Year 4 hear that song they heartily put their Visualising Glasses on. When the song is finished and everybody is wearing their visualising glasses Miss Lee reads a story. While Miss Lee is reading the story it is Year 4’s job to use their imagination to visualise and make a movie in their head of the story being read.

Did you enjoy making the visualising glasses and why?

Fishlegs told Hiccup you can’t talk to it because it is an ANIMAL! Toothless blew out smoke rings. Toothless was extremely hungry. Hiccup knew Toothless wanted fish but, he did not have any. So he asked if Toothless wanted to eat the cat. However, they were using the cat to eat the mice from a room. So Toothless decided to eat Stoick’s beard. ‘Get him off’ yelled Stoick. Hiccup was really tired. So he decided to go to bed. Instead of leaving Toothless in front of the fire Hiccup took him to bed with him. Hiccup told Toothless not to snore too loud so Hiccup could sleep. Well he decided to snore anyway. Hiccup was kept awake in bed while Toothless was snoring. It really cold. Finally, he fell into a deep, deep sleep.

Partitioning Scavenger Hunt

By Martin and Max

On Monday 22nd February Year 4 had fun in Mathematics by participating in a scavenger hunt about partitioning.

For homework we had to watch this Miss Lee Tube video about partitioning.

Then in our Mathematics lesson we searched the playground to find all the partitioning questions.  We worked with groups of 3, 2 or 1.   After we finished we we had to make a partitioning for people to work out.

Check out some of our photos of this fun activity!
